Olympus AS 4000 Transcription Kit

The Olympus AS4000 PRO makes digital transcription easier than it has ever been! This software, combined with the Dictation Module Release 4, makes the dictation and transcription workflow extremely efficient. The AS4000 software will check your email or FTP site for new dictation and send completed documents back to the person who sent them to you. Plus in this version, you are not restricted to MAPI email, you can now use SMTP email or FTP to send and receive files. Doctors (and other professionals bound by HIPPA compliance) can take advantage of these features as well because of the built in encryption option. All these features make the dictation/transcription process complete. Olympus did not forget anything on this new product!

• Ability to receive DSS and .wav files sent as email attachments directly into the program using e-mail or FTP.
• Ability to adjust playback speed of DSS file.
• Ability to download files from an attached DS digital voice recorder.
• Ability to launch IBM ViaVoice from the toolbar if you have this software installed.
• Ability to use the RS-25 or RS-26 Footswitch to control playback of the audio file.
• Ability to track typing status by marking files Pending, Unfinished, and Finished to track its status.
• Ability to organize files in folders such as Typist Tray that holds files that have not been finished and a Finished tray for jobs completed.
• Ability to arrange files by completed date.
• Manages created document files in association with dictation files.
• Plays files in the background when another application is running, such as a word processor.
• Work types can now be associated with specific document templates.

• Ability to launch the word processor of your choice installed on your computer when you double-click a DSS file.
